Colchester United recall Tom Eastman from Crawley Town

Eastman made 13 appearances in two years with Ipswich Town

Colchester United have recalled defender Tom Eastman from his loan spell at League Two leaders Crawley Town.

Eastman, 19, was in his second month at Crawley, making six starts for the club.

He has returned to his parent club as Colchester are set to be without three centre-backs for Saturday's match at Sheffield Wednesday.

Pat Baldwin and Matt Heath are injured, whilst Magnus Okuonghae is suspended.

Eastman joined Colchester in May 2011 on a free transfer from Ipswich Town, and has made just one substitute appearance for the U's so far.
