Notts County have signed winger Femi Orenuga on a month-long loan from Premier League side Everton.
Orenuga moved to Goodison Park from Southend United in March 2009 but has yet to play for the first team.
"I want to get some experience and am looking forward to working with Martin Allen [Magpies manager]," Orenuga, 18, told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"I'm a fast, tricky player who likes to beat the full-back a lot, so I should be exciting for the crowd."
Orenuga was only 15 at the time he left Roots Hall but had already become Southend's youngest player when he appeared in an FA Cup tie against Luton Town.
League One high-flyers Notts are fourth in the table after an impressive start to the season and play Brentford at Meadow Lane on Saturday.
