Kidderminster Harriers have signed midfielder Dave Bird on a one-month loan from League Two side Cheltenham.

The 26-year-old has made nearly 300 league appearances for the Robins since breaking through from the youth team in 2002.

"I have been at Cheltenham for 10 years and never known what it's like at a new club," said Bird.

"Kidderminster have been doing well and that is one of the main reasons why I wanted to come and get involved."

The experienced midfielder goes straight into the Harriers squad

"When you aren't playing games, sometimes you need to get yourself away," he added. "That can give you the little bit of hunger or a boost that you're missing."
