Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says his side still have "a long way to go" after recording their first away win of the season.

The Grecians' also saw City score their first away goals of the 2011-12 campaign as they moved out of the League One relegation zone.

"There's a long way to go, I'm not going to celebrate too soon or quite yet," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.

"We've won two games, well we've got a long season ahead of us."

Tisdale's side have now won back-to-back matches for the first time this season after beating Rochdale 3-1 at St James Park on Saturday.

"It was a much-needed away win and a fantastic three or four days," he added.

"We've had a settled group of players over the last three or four weeks and I think that's been key as we've been able to practise certain things.

"I'm very pleased we've got two wins, I'm not going to get ahead of myself, we need some more of those performances."
