Tranmere have extended forward Jose Baxter's loan from parent club Everton by another month.
The 19-year-old joined Rovers in September to gain some first-team experience and has scored two goals in seven appearances for Les Parry's side.
"I'm very pleased, I just want to play football every week," Baxter told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"The way we're going at the minute, we're flying and it's great. I'm gaining match fitness and experience."
Tranmere manager Les Parry drafted Baxter into his squad as cover for the injured Andy Robinson, who is recovering from a hamstring injury.
"I'm delighted to be able to keep Jose for another month," said Rovers boss Parry.
"He's done really well for us since he has been here, has settled in well with the rest of the lads and has shown what a talented footballer he is.
"The speed at which opposition teams try to close him down shows how good they think he is too.
"I'd like to thank David Moyes for allowing Jose to stay with us and hope he sees the benefit in him being here longer."
