Plymouth Argyle caretaker manager Carl Fletcher says his side will not dwell on their heavy defeat at Oxford United.
The Pilgrims went down 5-1 at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday to stay five points adrift of safety at the bottom of League Two.
"You've got to accept it and get on with it," Fletcher told BBC Devon.
"You don't want them to worry too much about it because there are some real good things in there and some real good positives," Fletcher added.
Plymouth are still in administration and are the subject of a takeover by businessman James Brent.
Fletcher is unable to bring in any new faces into his squad until the takeover is complete. Even so, he is determined to improve the consistency of his inexperienced team.
"We're trying to get the performances consistent and getting them every game we play in, and then the results will take care of themselves," he said.
