Oxford United winger Alfie Potter has signed a new contract with the club keeping him at the U's until the end of 2012-13 season.
Potter, 22, has appeared in every League Two game this season and Oxford have an option to keep hold of him for a further year until 2013-14.
He began his career at Peterborough and first signed for the U's in July 2010 following a successful loan spell.
"I was always going to sign for Oxford," Potter told BBC Radio Oxford.
"I've loved it from the first minute I came on loan.
"It is a great club going forward, great coaching staff and great fans. I'm loving it here and really enjoying my football at the moment and I'm glad I've got a new contract sorted so early in the season so I can get my head down."
Potter also had loan spells at Grays, Havant & Waterlooville and Kettering before moving to Oxford United in July 2009.
He has been a key member of an Oxford United side who are flying high in League Two.
"The gaffer has put together a really good squad and hopefully we can push on now," added Potter.
"I'm in good form at the moment and the gaffer has put a lot of faith in me this season. He has given me the confidence to go out and play."
