Sheffield Wednesday top scorer Gary Madine has avoided any further ban from the Football Association following last week's red card against Carlisle.

The 21-year-old striker pleaded guilty following an incident after being dismissed against his old club in last Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at Brunton Park.

Madine served an automatic one-match suspension when he then missed Saturday's 2-1 win at Wycombe.

But, although fined £500, he will not have to serve any further ban.

Madine is alleged to have motioned his head towards referee Paul Tierney and made comments towards home fans on his way back to the dressing room.
