Carson glad he moved abroad
- From the section Football
Bursaspor goalkeeper Scott Carson says he had "nothing to lose" when signing for the Turkish Super Lig outfit for an undisclosed fee in July, and that playing abroad had never previously crossed his mind.
The former Liverpool player believes he has "made the right decision" for his career and reveals settling his young family in a new country and learning the Turkish for "man on" have been the hardest challenges.
Carson also states he "can still play" at international level and has not given up hope of adding to his three England caps, the last of which came in a 2-1 friendly win against Germany in November 2008.
