Josh Coulson scored a late equaliser as Cambridge United drew with Wrexham in the first round of the FA Cup.
Wrexham went ahead through player-manager Andy Morrell, who nodded in Lee Fowler's cross in the 20th minute.
Coulson levelled when he glanced in Ashley Carew's free-kick, before Morrell struck again when he found the bottom corner from 10 yards.
But in added time defender Coulson made it 2-2 with a scrappy finish as Cambridge took the tie to a replay.
Home keeper Danny Naisbitt did well to repel a number of Wrexham chances as Morrell and Luke Berry came close to extending the visitor's lead before the break.
The tie became a fraught affair in the second half, with the pendulum swinging one way then the other.
Coulson's equaliser came soon after the break and, while Cambridge were without a genuine attacking threat, they caused Wrexham problems at set-pieces.
Morrell appeared to have sealed Wrexham's path to the second round with a powerful finish on the hour.
But the home side, under the cosh for long periods, held firm and were eventually rewarded thanks to Coulson's untidy late finish.
