Goals from Ed Upson, Andy Williams and Dominic Blizzard saw Yeovil record a comfortable FA Cup victory at Hereford.
Upson put the Glovers ahead when he latched on to a pass and fired a low shot past David Cornell from 20 yards.
Williams doubled Yeovil's lead with a shot into the roof of the net and Blizzard sealed the victory with an effort from outside the penalty area.
Hereford's best opportunity fell to substitute Delroy Facey but his header was well saved by Gareth Stewart.
Stewart, 31, is the Glovers' goalkeeping coach but because on-loan Marek Stech was on Czech Republic Under-21 duty.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"Early on in the game we had our moments and had three chances before they got their first goal.
"If one of those goes in then maybe it is a different game but it has taken three very good strikes from them to knock us out.
"But we have not really been at the races this week and this has given us a little lesson."
