Worcester City 2-2 Guiseley

Mike Symonds
Symonds scored his 10th goal of the season before injuring his hamstring

Guiseley came back from two goals down to earn a draw with Worcester City at St George's Lane.

Lee Ayres headed home Neil Cartwright's 36th-minute corner and Mike Symons hit his 10th goal of the season just before the break with a fine run and shot.

City's top scorer Symons retired with a hamstring injury early in the second half and Guiseley made the most of it.

Danny Boshall made it 2-1 before Gavin Rothery scored a late penalty after a foul by City goalkeeper James Dormand.

Hard-working Worcester impress Heeley

Worcester City manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "The game-changing moment was when he (Symons) pulled up with what looks like a hamstring pull.

"It's a major setback for us and from that moment on, they took control of the game."
