Plymouth Argyle dedication impresses boss Carl Fletcher

Plymouth Argyle manager Carl Fletcher says he was impressed with the dedication his side showed in their 1-1 draw with fifth-placed Morecambe.

The visitors, who were third in League Two, scored in injury-time to snatch a point from bottom side Argyle.

"They worked so hard and we're trying to get that winning mentality into them," Fletcher told BBC Radio Devon.

"Everyone worked their socks off and worked well as a team and we can't ask any more than that."

Fletcher added: "First half we played well, we kept the ball well, which I was pleased with as we've been trying to improve on it."

The Argyle boss was also happy with the way defender Paul Bignot played on his debut after .

"He's settled in and it looked like he'd played there for years and years so I was pleased," he said.

"He hadn't trained with the lads at all. All the lads that are here are of similar ages and they all made him feel welcome and you could see that in his performance."
