Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth hopes to strengthen his squad before their next Blue Square Bet Premier match away at Wrexham on 19 November.

"I do hope to have a few more new faces," he told BBC Lincolnshire.

"We may have to sacrifice one or two to free up funds but by next week we hope to have a midfielder on board. If not one, then maybe two or three."

Hinds signed a contract with the Imps until the end of the season while Gateshead goalkeeper Farman and Cambridge United winger Platt are on loan until 1 January 2012.

Holdsworth has also agreed a deal to extend the loan of Bournemouth centre-half Mitchell Nelson, but midfielder Curtis Thompson has returned to Notts County following the expiry of his loan.
