Cambridge v Wrexham (Fri)

FA Cup

Cambridge manager Jez George has a selection headache ahead of his side's FA Cup first round tie against Wrexham.

Left-back James Jennings is expected to return which could force George into a defensive reshuffle.

Wrexham will be without suspended midfielder Jay Harris, after he was booked during last Saturday's draw at York.

Manager Andy Morrell could promote Lee Fowler to the starting line-up in Harris' absence.

VIEWS FROM THE TRAINING GROUND

Cambridge manager Jez George told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:

"It'll be a really difficult game as they're not top of the table without reason.

"But hard work breeds belief and no team works harder than we do, which makes a difference."

"They're a strong, experienced and disciplined side, they're difficult to break down and they score goals," George said.

"That's a combination which makes them formidable opponents and we're going to need to be at the top of our game."

Wrexham manager Andy Morrell told BBC Radio Wales:

"It's just another game for us really. We're on a good unbeaten run at the moment and we're looking to continue that.

"We've had one tough game already in this competition against York and I think Friday's going to be exactly the same.

"They're going really well, they've got a really good defensive record like us so it's going to be two teams trying their hardest to get through into the second round."
