Liam Hatch scored twice as managerless Darlington beat Ebbsfleet to record a fifth win in nine games.
Darlo took the lead when Hatch volleyed in Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's corner.
But, after Jamie Chandler had hit the bar for the Quakers, Ebbsfleet levelled when Calum Willock headed into the roof of the net.
Hatch combined with Bridge-Wilkinson again to slot Darlington back in front before Dale Hopson lashed in the third from Paul Arnison's pass in added time.
POST-MATCH VIEWS
Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent:
"It was not a good day all round. But no complaints. They were better than us in all departments.
"We didn't do enough to get a result so we take it on the chin and we will learn from it.
"Liam Hatch gave the two centre-halves a tough time. They didn't deal with that. We allowed them too much time to play in midfield and, up front, we were not physical enough."
