Dungannon Swifts moved three points clear of Lisburn Distillery by beating the 10-man Whites at New Grosvenor.
David Cushley received a straight red card for an off-the-ball incident with Ryan O'Neill in the 18th minute.
Michael Ward gave Swifts the lead after meeting a cross from the left with a volley on the half hour.
Gary Liggett latched onto a poor Ryan Mullan backpass to slot the ball under Niall Morgan a minute later but Ward pounced on a rebound to score on 64.
Referee Raymond Crangle had no hesitation in sending Cushley off early in the game.
When the score was tied at 1-1, Liggett had two efforts saved by Morgan and Mark Patton stabbed the ball wide.
Ward netted his second after PJ Lavery's shot came off the woodwork.
