Robert Pires turns down Doncaster Rovers approach

Former Arsenal and France midfielder Robert Pires claims he has rejected a move to Doncaster Rovers.
The 38-year-old said on Twitter: "I'm happy they think I can help them, but it's not my plan to play there."
The ex-Metz, Marseille and Villarreal man has been without a club since his release by Aston Villa in the summer.
Rovers have been using agent Willie McKay recently to help them sign players who are not featuring regularly and want a shop window.
The Championship strugglers have already attracted internationals El-Hadji Diouf, Pascal Chimbonda and Herita Ilunga since the link-up with McKay.
