Stoke City defender Danny Collins has extended his loan stay at Ipswich Town by a further week.
The 31-year-old's current spell was due to end on 10 December, but he will now stay until 17 December after spending a week back at his parent club.
Collins returned from Ipswich over the international break to spend time with his partner and new-born child.
"Danny's been with his family and went back to Stoke for a short while," Town boss Paul Jewell told the club website.
"But we've recalled him again. It made sense for a number of reasons and means he will now be with us for the Derby game on December 17."
Collins, who also pulled out of the Wales squad last week, will be available to Jewell for Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest.
He has played 10 times for Ipswich since joining them in early September.
