Tranmere goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams says Rovers are determined to put their cup disappointments behind them and consolidate their play-off ambitions.
"It wasn't our best week but we must look forward and prepare ourselves right for Sheffield Wednesday," Fon Williams told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"The lads are disappointed, but we'll be going into the game on Saturday with a bit of fire in our bellies."
Tranmere are two points outside the League One play-off spots, seven points behind third-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
The Welsh goalkeeper says his team cannot afford to be erratic and must keep cool heads at Prenton Park on Saturday if they are to bounce back and climb the table.
He added: "You can't go all out to win because it's just another game and it won't be any bigger than the one you've just played, even though Sheffield Wednesday are one of the best in the league.
"So we'll prepare ourselves just as we usually do and make sure we get the job done."
