Sam Saunders' late goal helped Brentford to victory at Rochdale.
Gary Alexander gave the visitors the advantage from the penalty spot after Clayton Donaldson had been bundled over by defender Stephen Jordan in the area.
Dale went in search of an equaliser and came close through Dean Holden's overhead kick, before levelling through a Marcus Holness header.
But the Bees came back and found the winner when Saunders latched onto the end of Mike Grella's flick-on to score.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Rochdale manager Steve Eyre told BBC Radio Manchester:
"I'm not too disappointed with how we've played, but there is room for improvement.
"They played on the counter-attack quite quickly and they went away with three points, so if that was their game plan, well done.
"I thought we were well worthy of our equaliser and at that point I thought we would go on and push on to win it."
Brentford manager Uwe Rosler told BBC London 94.9:
"Its the second time we're in Manchester and the second win so I'm over the moon.
"We did our homework today and that's paid off for us.
"Shaleum Logan is a real warrior. He got the green light from the medical staff to play and he put in an outstanding performance."
