Huddersfield have lost an appeal against the red card shown to Alan Lee during the 2-1 win over Notts County.

The 33-year-old was sent off following an aerial challenge with County defender Sam Sodje.

The striker will now miss the matches at Charlton on November 28, at home to Bournemouth on December 10, and at Sheffield Wednesday on December 17.

Terriers manager Lee Clark had told the club website contact between the players was accidental.

"We know Sam had to go off injured following the collision, but there was no raised arm or intent on Alan's part," said Clark.

Republic of Ireland international Lee joined Town in August last year and has scored four goals so far this season.
