Kettering manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Northampton:
"With the chances they created, they could have got a few more goals - but we had a couple of good opportunities too.
"I don't think they were that superior, but in the box they were more clinical and defensively they put their bodies on the line.
"There's a lot of work to be done. Hopefully in the next couple of games we can get results to ease a little bit of the pressure."
