Burnley chief executive Paul Fletcher will leave his job at the end of the season, the club have confirmed.

The 60-year-old, who played 352 times for the Clarets, has held the position at Turf Moor since 2008.

The club will immediately begin their search for a new chief executive with the view to making an appointment as soon as possible.

Fletcher will remain in a commercial role until he leaves to oversee the UCFB College of Football Business.
