Bath have taken Bristol City academy players Joe Bryan and Aaron Amadi-Holloway on loan until January.
Bryan, 18, who can play on the left side of defence or midfield, signed a two-year professional deal with the Robins last season.
Defender Amadi-Holloway, also 18, is a Wales youth international who has featured regularly alongside Bryan in the Under-18 squad.
Both will be available for the Romans' game with Mansfield on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Bath goalkeeper Jason Matthews' move to Blue Square Bet South side Salisbury has fallen through.
Whites manager Darrell Clarke said: "We very much wanted Jason on our books and approached Bath City in accordance with FA rules.
"We were given permission by Bath City to speak to him before the seven-day notice period had expired, and subsequently agreed terms with him for his transfer.
"Needless to say, I am very disappointed that he has now chosen to stay at Bath City, and feel that he has let us down at a very late stage."
