A brace from Ryan Donnelly earned Airdrie United a draw as Arbroath missed the chance to go top of Scottish Football League Division Two.
Gavin Swankie curled home a 25-yard free-kick to give Arbroath a second-minute lead.
But Paul Lovering levelled from the penalty spot four minutes later after Brian Kerr had handled in the area.
A spot-kick at the other end gave the visitors an advantage at the break, Steven Doris converting after Kevin Green was penalised for handling.
Josh Falkingham's clinical right-foot finish appeared to put Arbroath on their way to victory on 56 minutes.
But two headers in a three-minute spell by Donnelly levelled the match, Derek Holmes and Sean Lynch providing the crosses.
And neither side could find a winner in the final 19 minutes.
