Strikers Sunil Chhetri and Jeje Lalpekhlua have arrived in Glasgow to begin trials with Rangers.

Chhetri, 27, currently plays for Mohun Bagan, while 20-year-old Lalpekhlua is with Pune. The pair will try and win moves to Ally McCoist's side.

Both players have become regulars in the India team, with the more experienced Chhetri having scored 26 goals in 50 appearances.

Lalpekhlua, capped 10 times, has six international goals.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist said: "They will have a look around Ibrox and Murray Park and will hopefully be here for a week.

"They have kindly agreed to come over and we will have a look at them."

Meanwhile, Rangers' new signing Sone Aluko could make his debut against Kilmarnock on Sunday and the winger told reporters: "I like playing under pressure.

"That's the kind of player I am. I thrive under pressure in big games.

"I'm putting myself under pressure to get into the team and keep my place.

"I like scoring goals and part of my job is to create goals so hopefully I'll get Nikica Jelavic and Kyle Lafferty and the other boys more goals.

"I'm just another attacking option for the team, really."
