Dartford are through to the first round proper of the FA Trophy after a 2-1 win over Eastbourne Borough.
Tom Champion and Danny Harris scored in the second half before former Dart Carl Rook pulled one back for Eastbourne.
Dartford manager Tony Burman told BBC Radio Kent: "We were the team who deserved to win it and we looked like the only team who were going to win it.
"I'm very pleased that we got through, it was difficult to break them down but second half we looked good."
On Champion's goal, he said: "It was a great strike and that's what it needed. We got a second one which gave the players confidence but I think the referee got it wrong with their penalty. He's fallen over his own player."
Dartford face Brackley Town from the Southern League Premier Division in the first round on Saturday 10 December.
"I haven't played there, I've looked on websites, they've got an experienced side and it will be a tough game, away from home," said Burman.
Welling United are also through after coming from 1-0 down to beat Thamesmead Town 3-1 with goals from Jack Parkinson, Andy Pugh and Loick Pires, but Tonbridge went out of the competition, losing 2-1 to Bishop's Stortford.
In the Ryman League, Kwesi Appiah scored his 25th and 26th goals of the season in Margate's 5-0 win over East Thurrock, while Faversham Town ended Maidstone United's fourteen game unbeaten league run with a 2-1 win at Salters Lane.
