Former Sunderland captain Michael Gray tells 5 Live Sport Mark Hughes is the man to step into the manager's role at the Stadium of Light following the sacking of Steve Bruce.

The one-time Black Cats full-back says he thinks Bruce's dismissal has come at "the right time" for the club.
