Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law believes loan signings Adam Quinn and Rob Eagle have both made a big impact on his side.
Law: "Rob has not played a full game for two months due to injury.
"He has come in and done well in both of his outings and Quinny has made a big difference to us at the back."
Alfreton have picked up four points in their last three matches but are five points adrift of safety in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
After two matches without defeat, the Reds were beaten and Law believes his side deserved better.
"It's a heck of a journey, but we have gone there in atrocious conditions on a horrible pitch and dominated them without anything to show. If we had won it 3-1 there couldn't have been many complaints.
"We hit the post and bar three more times in the second half and their keeper has made a couple of great saves.
"If you look at the stats - we dominated possession, had more corners, had more shots on target and had more attempts off target.
"We did everything but score but, if you can't put the ball in the net, you are not going to win."
