Gainsborough Trinity have signed striker Paul Connor, 32, after he left Mansfield Town to go part-time.
Connor joined the Stags in July 2010 and scored 15 goals in 55 appearances for the Blue Square Bet Premier side.
He told Mansfield's website: "I've got one eye on various possibilities after football and I want to be playing more matches at my age.
"After speaking with the manager he reluctantly agreed that this was the best decision for me and my family."
The much-travelled Connor, whose previous clubs include Lincoln City, Cheltenham, Swansea and Rochdale, joined Mansfield after fans' group the 12th Stag donated part of his wages.
He could make his debut for Gainsborough in Saturday's Blue Square Bet North match away at Corby Town.
