Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow said his team's performance against Bishop's Stortford has left him unsure of how to tackle Welling.
The Angels were beaten 2-1 and Warrilow told BBC Radio Kent he was bitterly disappointed with the performance and is considering changes.
But with Tonbridge's good November form, Warrilow has to decide if the result was a blip.
"I'm caught in two minds what to do but I'll have to see Saturday," he said.
"The lads can't play any worse than they did last time, and we have had a good November.
"It has been a successful part of the season but Welling will kill us if we turn up like the last time out."
Tonbridge took nine points from 12 in November and Warrilow said: "It's important we have a successful December and enter the new year in a similar situation to now."
