Lincoln City boss David Holdsworth demands more goals
Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth says his side's poor scoring record is a major factor in their lowly position in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
After 23 games the Imps have scored 21 goals, the fewest of any team in the division, and are sixth from bottom.
Holdsworth told BBC Lincolnshire: "The biggest contribution to that is our lack of goals and we must address that.
"But at the moment we are working on getting everyone right and I'm pleased because I have seen an improvement."
Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Newport County was Lincoln's ninth away defeat of the campaign and the 10th match in which they have failed to score.
