Chelsea midfielder Conor Clifford has had his loan spell at Yeovil Town extended by a further month.

The 20-year-old has played four times since joining the Glovers in November and was on the scoresheet in Yeovil's 2-2 draw with Fleetwood in the FA Cup.

He will remain at Huish Park until 3 January and be available for games against Notts County, Rochdale, Charlton, Bournemouth and Exeter.

Clifford will also be available for the FA Cup replay against Fleetwood.

The Chelsea academy product, who has not made a first-team appearance for the Blues, was an unused substitute for the Republic of Ireland senior side in their friendly against Croatia in August.

He has previously spent loan spells at Notts County and Plymouth Argyle.
