Chesterfield 1-1 Walsall
Veteran striker Jack Lester scored a last-minute equaliser to rescue a point for bottom club Chesterfield against fellow strugglers Walsall.
Alex Nicholls put the Saddlers ahead with his fifth goal of the season.
Walsall looked on course for their first league win since 15 October until Lester struck in the closing stages with his first goal since August.
Chesterfield are three points adrift at the foot of League One, while Walsall are a point from safety in 21st place.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Chesterfield assistant manager Tommy Wright told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I thought the first half we were poor, our energy levels weren't great, we were low on confidence and we looked like a team at the bottom of the league.
"But credit to the players, second half we were excellent, probably that's the best we've played in a long time.
"We moved the ball quickly and made the pitch big when we had the ball, our wide players got good service, got plenty of balls in the box and we created two or three really good chances and I think we at least deserved a point today."
