Swindon Town's Michael Timlin set to stay with Southend
Swindon Town's Michael Timlin is set to sign a permanent deal with Southend in January, BBC Wiltshire understands.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined the Shrimpers for his second loan spell with the club in August after falling out of favour at the County Ground.
Timlin joined the Robins from Fulham in 2006, initially on loan, and has made 136 appearances.
He has been a regular for Southend since his arrival, playing 18 games and scoring twice.
