Fleetwood boss Micky Mellon says their FA Cup tie with neighbours Blackpool will be a major boost for the area.
Town, currently second in Blue Square Bet Premier, set up a third-round clash with the Seasiders following Tuesday's replay victory over League One Yeovil.
"I'm absolutely delighted we've delivered this to the Fylde Coast," Mellon told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"So many people wanted us to get through to the Blackpool tie because it doesn't come round too often."
Both sides have had impressive seasons so far, with Blackpool just four points off the Championship play-off places.
But for Mellon, the game gives him the chance to meet up with his managerial counterpart at Bloomfield Road.
"To me it'll be such a great event and I get the chance to stand side-by-side with my good pal Ian Holloway," said the former Blackpool midfielder.
"He'll be delighted as well because we both know how big an event it'll be for the whole of the area.
"We know what it means to the club and I think the show of elation at the end of the game was just an outpouring of the delight of getting through."
The third round tie is set to be played on 7 January at Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium.
