A stoppage-time strike by Ross County's Colin McMenamin denied Falkirk the chance to close the gap on the First Division leaders.

Falkirk's Michael McGovern saved a close-range Michael Gardyne shot.

And Kieran Duffie's 25-yard strike 13 minutes from time past County keeper Michael Fraser looked to have settled a tight contest.

But McMenamin's effort in the 94th minute saved County from suffering only their second defeat of the season.

The late equaliser was all the more galling for the Bairns as they had the better second-half chances.

David Weatherston headed narrowly wide, while centre-half Darren Dods curled an effort just past the right-hand post.
