Oxford United winger Alfie Potter is hoping to make a swift return to the team following a groin problem.
Potter, 22, has missed United's last four games after suffering the injury during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Southend.
"I wasn't fit enough to come back last Saturday but I've trained all week and feel ready," he told BBC Radio Oxford.
"Hopefully I can force my way back into the starting line-up and help pick results back up again."
He continued: "Results haven't been good and games haven't been great to watch but confidence is still high and we're all sure we are going to turn it around."
The U's are 10th in League Two and host struggling Northampton on Saturday looking for their first win since 29 October.
