Doncaster Rovers keeper Ikeme could face nine weeks out
Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, who is on loan from Wolves, could be out for up to nine weeks after having surgery on a thumb injury.
The 25-year-old joined Rovers on loan in November after Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland's temporary spell was curtailed by a similar problem.
Veteran Neil Sullivan also has a thumb injury, meaning Gary Woods is likely to deputise in goal.
Ikeme, who is on loan until 4 January, suffered the injury in training.
Manager Dean Saunders told the club website: "They're both freak injuries [to Sullivan and Ikeme].
"Gary Woods will get his chance and hopefully take it with both hands."
