Hereford 1-2 Port Vale

Port Vale scored twice in the final 12 minutes as they came from behind to beat strugglers Hereford and record a third successive victory in League Two.

Tom Barkhuizen's delightful chip gave the home side the lead on 55 minutes.

Vale equalised through Adam Yates, who drilled home from inside the area with 12 minutes to go.

Marc Richards secured the win with a late penalty after a foul on Jennison Myrie-Williams to leave Hereford just a point clear of the bottom two.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"Because we have got such an enthusiasm among the group we tend to charge around a bit too much and show a lack of discipline.

"But we have got some young enthusiastic players in there we need to get to grips with.

"We have to make sure they develop properly and ensure they understand they can't do that all the time."
