Ebbsfleet Utd 3-1 Hayes & Yeading

Ebbsfleet ended their six-match winless run at the expense of struggling Hayes and Yeading.

The hosts went in front when Michael West converted Nathaniel Pinney's right-wing cross from close range.

Tom Phipp doubled the lead shortly after the interval with a fine 20-yard effort, before volleying in a third from another Pinney centre.

The visitors netted a late consolation through Tom Collins, who finished from six yards out.

Fleet good value for win - Daish

"We were always first to everything and we got a little bit more creative and confident.

"It was a good team performance. Everybody was working hard and that's a good win for us. The club needed that.

"They are the big games with the teams around us. You want to keep the gap and increase it."
