Kidderminster stretched their unbeaten run to seven games with a narrow victory over Forest Green.
Harriers striker Jamille Matt had the best opening of an uneventful first half but he headed wide from Callum Gittings' centre.
Jack Byrne headed the winner past keeper James Bittner from close range after Matt had shown good awareness to unselfishly nod back across goal.
The hosts could have extended the lead but Kyle Storer shot wide late on.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Kidderminster manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"Teams are going to sit back and they have already done it this season. Some sides have come here and tried to hit us on the break.
"Sometimes that is a concern that we push and push looking to score and we've been undone at the back.
"But I thought the boys at the back were immense today, as were the midfield, but all round I thought everybody did very well."
