Luton claimed their biggest win of the season as they thrashed Kettering.
Jake Howells scored with a 20-yard free-kick, Aaron O'Connor headed in a second and Alex Lawless got a third after an initial shot was half-blocked.
O'Connor hit the bar with a penalty, but Stuart Fleetwood's clinical finish extended the lead before Robbie Willmott slammed home a fifth goal.
The Poppies only named two substitutes and created few opportunities as their winless run extended to 10 matches.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Kettering Town manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Northampton:
"It could have been even worse but for Laurie Walker pulling off a couple of saves. At times it looked like men against boys.
"It hurts my pride and you hope players come back on New Year's Day and put on a much better performance.
"There were a couple out there who don't care. That really hurts you and the quicker we can get rid of those players, it'll be so much better for this football club."
