Anton Brown scored one of the fastest goals in Blue Square Bet Premier history as Alfreton thrashed Tamworth.
Brown netted after 11 seconds from 12 yards and Jake Moult set-up Nathan Arnold for Alfreton's second.
Josh Law met Connor Franklin's cross for 3-0, Anthony Wilson's header made it four and Nathan Jarman scored the fifth after Arnold hit the post.
Liam McDonald's free-kick and Richard Tait's 25-yard shot were merely consolation goals for Tamworth.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law told BBC Radio Derby:
"The result was good and the points are good but I thought the performance wasn't that great to be honest.
"I think we scored at the right time and they gifted us a few goals, although there was some good finishing. I thought in the second half we came out and we were sloppy and we conceded two goals.
"It's no good getting to four or five nil and then thinking we'll change the game plan and too many of my players did that today, so I'm slightly disappointed."
