Swindon Town have completed the signing of Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wes Foderingham for an undisclosed fee after a successful loan spell.
He joined the League Two club on loan in September and was scheduled to return to Palace on 14 January.
But Swindon have moved to keep the 20-year-old, who has recorded nine clean sheets in 15 games, and have handed him a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Foderingham joined Palace on a two-year deal in 2010 but never played a game.
After arriving at Selhurst Park from the Fulham academy, he was immediately sent out on loan to non-league Bromley and also went on to have a spell with Histon, where he made nine appearances at the end of last season.
Foderingham was brought to Swindon as cover for the injured Phil Smith.
He made his Football League debut against Accrington and has gone on to replace Smith as first-choice keeper.
