St Lawrence lifted the Trinity Shield last year for the first time since 1989

Trinity Shield holders St Lawrence have crashed out after throwing away a 4-1 lead against St Brelade.

The quarter-final finished 4-4 after normal time with Joe Murphy bagging a hat-trick for St Brelade, including a 94th minute equaliser.

Kyle Rea struck in extra-time to put St Lawrence in front but they had Aaron Parkinson and Tommy Wigley sent off.

Jordan McBride levelled the game at 5-5 in the 121st minute before St Brelade edged the penalty shoot-out 4-3.

They will now meet the winners of Wednesday night's game between Grouville and St Peter in the final four.

The annual tournament sees Jersey-born players competing for either the parish they live in or the parish their parents lived in when they were born.
