Ryan Kidd to assist caretaker Chris Beech at Rochdale
Rochdale have brought in Ryan Kidd to assist Chris Beech in his caretaker manager role at Spotland.
The 40-year-old spent three years as assistant manager to Simon Davey at Barnsley and had an 11-day spell in charge of Darlington.
A former defender, Kidd played for Port Vale and Preston during an 11-year career but was forced to retire aged 30 because of a serious neck injury.
He will assist Beech following the sacking of Steve Eyre and Frankie Bunn.
