Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has told striker Martyn Waghorn he is still very much part of his plans.
Waghorn, 21, is on loan at Pearson's former club Hull City until January but is currently out injured and receiving treatment back with his parent club.
The England Under-21 forward flourished in Pearson's first spell as Foxes boss but fell out of favour last term.
Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester's Football Forum: "When Waggy is back, is he in our plans? Absolutely."
Waghorn followed the current Foxes manager to Hull City at the end of August.
But he suffered a hamstring injury playing for the England U21s and will be not available to the Foxes until the transfer window opens in January because is still registered as a Hull player.
The former Sunderland trainee joined Leicester, initially on loan in August 2009, making 84 appearances and scoring 16 goals.
