Jake Thomson and Keiron Forbes stay at Forest Green Rovers
Forest Green have extended the loan of Kettering midfielder Jake Thomson until the end of the season and are hoping to sign him permanently in January.
The Trinidad & Tobago international, 22, has been at the New Lawn since September and has made 11 appearances.
Rovers manager Dave Hockaday said: "Jake's agreed to sign until the end of this season and he is keen to commit himself beyond this."
Meanwhile midfielder Keiron Forbes has signed a one-year deal extension.
The 21-year-old has been a key figure in Hockaday's side this term, making 22 appearances, and will now stay with the Blue Square Bet Premier outfit until the end of the 2012-13 season.
The club have also signed up youngsters Adrian Harvey, 17, and Ashley Brown, 18, on non-contract terms.
Hockaday added: "This is massive news from the youth angle, as we want to be a club that will give our young players a chance of first team football.
"They are two of the best prospects at the club and with continued hard work I am sure there will be more that will come through."
